Taking a file from computer to plate, the Lotem 400 Platesetter operates with a sharp, precise imaging. The image gets burned into the emulsion of the plate by a laser in a thermal process, not an optical one. Compared to the traditional negative-to-plate process, this thermal process produces a narrower, more precise point. The Lotem uses Prinergy Software.
